If a user elects to use our "Invite Friends" feature to invite a friend to become a user of uber.com, we ask them for that friend's email address. Uber will automatically send the friend an email inviting them to join the site. Uber stores this email address for the purpose of: (i) automatically adding the respondent to the "Friends" of the user sending the invitation; (ii) sending reminders of the invitation and (iii) sending emails on recent updates by the user on uber.com to the user's invited friend. Uber will never sell these email addresses or use them to send any other communication besides invitations and invitation reminders. Any person who receives an invitation may contact Uber to request the removal of this information from our database.

Your account Personal Information is protected by a password for your privacy and security. You need ensure unauthorized access to your account and Personal Information by selecting and protecting your password appropriately and limiting access to your computer and browser by signing off after you have finished accessing your account. Uber endeavors to protect user information to ensure that user account information is kept private, however, Uber cannot guarantee the security of user account information. The ads appearing on uber.com are delivered to users by our Web advertising partners. Our Web advertising partners may use cookies.
